Telegra introduces XAID to solve problems in incident detection

Telegra claims that its new XAID system solves some of the sensitivity problems encountered in video based automatic incident detection (AID), with new software that improves the accuracy of video AID by tracking and recording the path of vehicles or people and then acting on any object that behaves in an unusual manner.

Other common difficulties can occur due to bad light conditions, due to sun glare or windshield reflection in east-west tunnels, or in inclement weather. Poor quality of camera signal can also cause difficulty.

XAID aims to solve all of these problems, plus camera shaking, by tracking vehicle paths. It can also apply to enforcement of yellow box violations and other traffic laws.
